We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead a financial function.
Duties & Responsibilities
This is a senior leadership position where you will play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction managing financial operations and ensuring the financial health of the Cluster.

Duties:
- Lead and manage the financial team.
- Oversee all financial activities ensuring alignment with the Clusters strategic goals and targets.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including shareholders bankers auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Devise and implement strategies for financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Maintain and improve finance systems procedures and processes to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory legal and financial obligations with particular attention to financial aspects.
- Deliver key financial reports within deadlines including Group Financial Reports Year-End Financials Internal Audit Information Tax Submissions Risk Reports and Sustainability Reports.
- Drive tax compliance for the Cluster including VAT PAYE ETI and Company Tax.
- Fulfil fiduciary duties with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom
- BCom Honours / CTA
- CA(SA) / CIMA / MBA
Experience:
- Completed SAICA Articles
- 10 / 15 years experience in a senior management role
- Extensive experience across all aspects of financial management including strategy implementation and financial reporting.
- Previous experience as a director of an organisation.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in due diligence and acquisitions (advantageous).
- Strong time management administrative skills and the ability to deliver under pressure.
- Proven experience in team leadership and achieving deadlines
