Whats the role
This role drives the evolution of low-latency trading systems market-making tools and real-time analytics. Youll collaborate with a diverse team of quants traders and analysts to build scalable high-performance backend solutions for global electronic execution and pricing.
As a Senior Engineer youll play a key role in shaping the future of our FX trading technology. This is a hands-on role where youll lead by exampledriving innovation mentoring peers and delivering resilient systems that support global trading strategies.
Youll design and build backend components for FX platforms focusing on smart order routing price discovery and algorithmic execution. Using Java (Spring Boot) in a Linux environment youll develop microservices integrate with messaging systems like Aeron or Chronicle and collaborate with front-end engineers. Youll also optimise for low-latency performance contribute to architecture decisions and support production systems during trading hours. Your responsibilities will include participating in code reviews testing deployment and providing third-line support to resolve production issues.
