What does a successful Database Analysis - Advisor II do at Fiserv

As a Database Analysis - Advisor II at Fiserv you will ensure the performance reliability and security of our database systems through design analysis and ongoing maintenance. You will partner with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve issues implement best practices and maintain data integrity. Using StreamSets ControlHub you will develop and operate ETL pipelines to load data into Snowflake in support of business-critical requirements

What you will do:

• Design and implement Snowflake database systems to meet complex business requirements.
• Develop monitor and maintain Snowflake DAG database performance and integrity.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve database issues and optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation within JIRA and as needed for CI/CD processes for our various database environments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the database team.

What you should have:

• 6 years of experience in database analysis.
• 3 years each of hands-on experience with SQL/DBMS data modeling Snowflake and database performance tuning.
• 1 year of experience with Fiserv tools/applications.
• A bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education work and military experience.

What would be great to have:

• Experience with database management tools.
• Understanding of database security best practices.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes.
