The Role
Researches develops designs and tests electrical components equipment systems and networks. Designs electrical equipment facilities components products and systems for commercial industrial and domestic purposes.Research develop and design electrical solutions for system integration of components and equipment onboard US Navy Ships. Perform cognizant engineering liaison with other engineering disciplines and lead shipcheck and drawing development efforts. Ability to coordinate drawing development efforts with Design Engineering and QA teams resolving issues and answering questions as required. Ability to work with waterfront personnel on resolving issues that arise during installations. Develop and coordinate drawing changes. Review Government Furnished Information and coordinate with Engineering/Design team to validate technical information and insure proper design is accomplished.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school with 0 years of experience.
Nice to Have
A C4ISR / Warfare Systems background is preferred. Competent in software (Microsoft Office AutoCAD and Bluebeam).
