Job Summary
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of the Training Consultant (MNCH and Nutrition) include:
Conduct multiplier training sessions for ToT-trained field staff and community providers using SCH-approved MNCH and Nutrition modules.
Facilitate training for field-based consultants and contractors to ensure uniform understanding of MNCH and Nutrition interventions.
Deliver sessions that reinforce clinical behavioral and communication components of MNCH and Nutrition including maternal care child health and nutrition counselling.
Ensure that training methods follow adult learning principles with practical demonstrations case studies and interactive exercises.
Collaborate with the SCH QPI team to maintain training consistency and ensure all sessions align with approved content and methodology.
Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge and skill improvements.
Provide technical feedback and mentoring support to trained participants during and after sessions.
Submit a comprehensive training report summarizing key outcomes challenges lessons learned and recommendations for future capacity building.
Qualifications :
M.B. B.S. degree with valid medical registration is required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting MNCH and Nutrition trainings.
Experience in facilitating ToT or cascade training models in health or community programs.
Strong skills in adult learning methodologies participatory training and mentoring.
Good understanding of national MNCH and Nutritional guidelines.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
