Mechanical Foreman

Job Description:

As a result of King and Moffatt Building Services securing a number of new projects in the Chichester area we are now looking to hire experienced Mechanical Foremen to play a key role in the successful delivery of these projects. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams on-site.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project drawings specifications and Irish building regulations.
• Liaise with project managers engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor site progress productivity and quality of workmanship.
• Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Manage materials tools and equipment on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed labour hours and site issues.
• Assist in resolving technical or coordination issues on-site.

Qualifications :

• Fully qualified plumber or mechanical craftsperson with relevant certifications (e.g. CSCS Carded Manual Handling).
• Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical installation with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC pipework plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
• Experience working on commercial industrial or data centre projects is an advantage.
• Full clean driving licence (desirable).
