Qualifications :
What do you need to excel at this
- 8 years of experience in software development and architecture roles that include the use of Geospatial Processing and/or Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning .
- Strong proficiency in Python and cloud-native systems (AWS preferred).
- Solid understanding of geospatial and agronomic data processing (weather soil crop management remote sensing).
- Experience with Computer Vision and AI/ML model orchestration.
- Ability to translate complex scientific and business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL MySQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB MongoDB Redis).
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Strong background in AWS including Lambda RDS DynamoDB SQS SNS MSK and API Gateway.
- Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD best practices.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog CloudWatch Prometheus or Grafana.
- Ability to translate complex scientific and business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
- Fluent English and strong communication skills to collaborate in a global environment.
