The Senior Accountant is responsible for general accounting functions including journal entries balance sheet reconciliations financial statement analysis and P&L guidance for Restaurant Leaders. The Senior Accountant will support month-end and year-end close processes analyze financial data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial operations.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and financial statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP internal policies and external regulations
Support and lead month-end and year-end closing activities
Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement
Answer P&L questions from Restaurants and Restaurant Support Office Crewmembers
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of accounting experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Detail-oriented organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
Self-driven flexible and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
Microsoft Proficient: Excel PowerPoint and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
Workday Financials experience
