The HR Operations Specialist serves as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries and provides transactional and administrative support across multiple HR processes. This role ensures accurate and timely execution of HR services supports compliance and contributes to process improvements and knowledge management initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employee Support & Inquiry Management
- Act as the first point of contact for general HR questions via multiple channels (email chat phone ticketing system).
- Manage HR inquiries and cases ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Provide employment verification and certification services.
HR Process Support
- Support HR Centers of Excellence (COE) programs and initiatives.
- Assist with onboarding activities including documentation and system updates.
- Facilitate contract renewals and probation management processes.
- Coordinate offboarding activities and Reduction in Force (RIF) support.
Data & File Management
- Maintain accurate employee files in compliance with company and legal standards.
- Review Workday transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Generate standard HR reports and respond to data requests.
- Provide audit support for internal and external reviews.
Benefits & Absence Administration
- Administer company benefits programs and government-mandated benefits.
- Manage employee absences and leave requests in HR systems.
Payroll & Time Administration
- Support timekeeping processes and resolve time-related issues.
- Assist with pre-payroll validation and HR systems troubleshooting.
Knowledge & Process Improvement
- Identify knowledge gaps and create knowledge articles for HR processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive process improvements and participate in business reviews and Tier 2 & 3 interlocks.

Qualifications :
REQUIRED:

- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
