The Digital and Transversal Solution APS Application Production team is an internal Team formed to support applications used by the internal projects to deploy solutions for their applications to deliver service to internal or external clients of the company by delivering expertise in the field of relation servers (Linux).
This team is also responsible to maintain guarantee and improve the current service provided by the transversal applications by identifying root causes suggest and implement improvements on the current processes. The team also following strictly the ITIL practices on their daily activities
Responsibilities:
o Provide functional support to users on applications
o Testing and cross checks
o Interact with IT Production & ICP Support Teams
o Interact with developers in case of inhouse developed applications
o Change Request support items and incident follow up in ServiceNow
o Treat requests change requests and support items for CIB applications
o Incident management and communication to users on local and central incidents
o Design of new application environments
o Installation administration documentation support and troubleshooting of applications
o Collaboration in projects of the group and on territory level
o Problem management
o Continuity Management
o Capacity Management
o Asset & Obsolescence Management
Main Activities:
Managing Incidents crisis calls communications and ensure optimal resolution of incidents within SLAS in place
Monitoring the application status
Monitoring the infrastructure server resources
o Perform validation between each environment
o Perform regular reviews of scripts before UAT phase
o Perform a regular report to Project Manager/Technical Leader of server and application points to improve
o Proposes and implement optimizations for the project (can be linked to server configuration rewrite of scripts)
o Perform a capacity planning for projects at least once a year
o Provide support to projects regarding definition of solutions
o Participate on the standardization of practices
o Participate on the validation of migrations done of servers instances
o Participate on the evolution of servers tools
Performing the analysis planning all technical tasks required and executing them
Defining tactical solutions to resume processes as quick as possible
Contributing to find out the incident root cause
Engaging the proper escalation path for all situations
Adopting the global and departmental guidelines IT best practices and IT Security recommendations
Qualifications :
In addition to the daily application support activity the Application Support team contributes to the definition of non-functional requirements that a new application must respect before going in production. Moreover it participates in the definition and implementation of projects to reduce support activity needed on critical systems.
