Chemist

• Job Title: Chemist
• Job Type: Permanent
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
• Job Location: Cramlington
• Shift Patterns available: Tuesday to Saturday 12pm to 8pm 
• Salary: 24400 

As a Chemist youll be responsible for preparing samples and performing analytical procedures to provide accurate and reliable test results to clients in accordance with written and verbal instructions.

Key Accountabilities

• Analysis and preparation of laboratory samples and reagents in accordance with specified test procedures.
• Perform testing in accordance with internal quality procedures and ensure the results reported are accurate and valid.
• Upload the results of analyses into the companys reporting system and ensure the timely transfer of outcomes for reporting to customers via the Companys assured internal procedures.
• Participate in relevant internal and external proficiency schemes to ensure that reliable results are delivered to customers.

Qualifications :

Essential 

• Proficient with Microsoft Office software and general computer practice.
• Degree or Equivalent level qualification within chemistry field 
• Experience of working in a laboratory.
• Due to access to public transport at shift time - own transport essential
