Job Summary

Oakhill College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed RE Teacher to join our vibrant and collaborative RE Faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that values academic excellence student engagement and faith-based learning. The position will commence in January 2026.

We seek applicants with strong communication skills classroom experience and a passion for inspiring students through religious and ethical education.

Requirements of the role:

Proven experience teaching Religious Education (RE) across Stages 4-5 and the ability to teach SOR (2 unit);

Planning and implementing effective teaching and innovative pedagogical practices;
Provide a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for students;
Assessing providing feedback and reporting on student learning;
Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages preferred however not essential;
Working collaboratively in a Religious Education Faculty;
Ability to implement new syllabus;
Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment;
Using effective pedagogies a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes;
Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning.
