The following is a comprehensive list of the expectations for a successful EMPIRE Ambassador. Further these responsibilities and expectations will be enhanced and developed as needed. To commence an EMPIRE Ambassador will conduct and ensure the following:
- Assist in conducting New Hire Orientation and Safety Training
- Meet and Greet New Hires at the entrance of the department at operational start up
- Ensure proper ID clocking/punching
- Ensure New Hires can open their lockers with combination
- Walk the department/floor to restrooms department/floor to locker room and department/floor to cafeteria a minimum of three (3) times to ensure knowledge and familiarity with the layout
- Demonstrate/Lead the New Hires on how to properly Don/Doff their PPE
- Practice a minimum of five (5) times the first day on the production floor
- You will conduct PPE verifications with each New Hire after each scheduled break to ensure proper usage and compliance
- You will be asked to help ensure New Hires are progressing along with their qualification and job responsibilities including:
- Check and Verify Knife and Steel usage when applicable
- Ask questions regularly of the new hires to make sure they are adjusting
- Help New Hires to understand the industry process and environment
- Follow Up with Human Resources with daily interactions logs
- Follow Up with Human Resources of any possible resignations or terminations
- Good communication skills are required
- Good attendance is a must
- Other duties to be assigned as necessary

Qualifications:
- Ability to speak read and write English
- Excellent verbalwritten communicationand organizationalskills
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Excellent attendance
Work Environment
The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures. It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives.
