Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Audit server backups and remediate any alerts
- Handle Tier 1-2 NOC tickets (server network)
- Respond to Priority 1 network outage tickets
- Communicate with Parachute and client contacts on ticket statuses and progress
- Make recommendations to optimize the clients IT environment
- Coordinate with ConnectWise NOC team to remediate alerts
- Document all work in ConnectWise ticketing system
- Work with NOC Analyst to update IT Glue documents create new as needed
- Assist on project work as needed
- Resolve security alert tickets
- Escalate issues and work with vendors
Requirements
Essential Technical Skills and Experience
- Windows Server/Workstation troubleshooting
- Windows Server/Workstation maintenance (patching performance optimization)
- General network troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Office 365 and other SaaS applications
- General IT and troubleshooting experience
Required Personal Skills
- The ability to multi-task and work across a range of projects and issues with various timelines and priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented in planning implementation documentation and follow-up
- Reliable on-time personable and customer-focused
- Energetic able to switch gears quickly from task to task
- Desire to learn; independently and on the job
