Bulk Storeperson Dunedin

About the role:

Pick pack label and wrap; get stock out the door and to our stores! Join us and do your part to feed the South Island.

As a Bulk Storeperson in our Dunedin Distribution Centre you will play an important role in getting our warehouse stock out to one of our 200 stores across the South Island. Working out of our Dry Goods warehouse your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Preparing and completing product orders (pick pack label wrap)
• Bulk repetitive picking heavy lifting up to 25kg
• Operating machinery and electric pallet jacks to move stock
• Keeping you and your team safe by following our Health and Safety guidelines
• Reach daily targets and contribute to feeding the South Island

The starting payrate is $26.79 per hour and well provide the PPE too! Your hourly rate is reviewed after 6 months.

Were currently looking to fill the following shifts:

Sunday to Thursday 3.15pm - 11:45pm (40 hours)

Sunday to Thursday 07:003:30pm (40 hours)

Tuesday to Saturday 07:003:30pm (40 hours)

Our Storeperson roles are an awesome place to start your journey with Foodstuffs - with many of our team progressing onto roles right across our organisation.

About you:

As most of your shift will be spent on your feet and lifting heavy cartons being physically fit and able to comfortably lift up-to 25kg is a requirement for this role.

• Have reliable transport to get to and from work
• Able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing

A Forklift license or experience in a similar role would be ideal but is not a deal breaker for us!
