Join us as a Cleaner at our Haslar site where youll play a key role in keeping our facilities operating smoothly and safely supporting essential defence work across the UK.
The Role
As a Cleaner youll support the delivery of high-quality operations across our Haslar site. Around 70% of your role will focus on cleaning duties helping to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and presentation across our facilities. Youll also assist with general maintenance and operational support ensuring the site remains safe efficient and welcoming for all who work there.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with clear progression within QinetiQs Estates and Facilities team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties ensuring all areas of the site are maintained to a high standard
- Supporting property operations through general maintenance grounds upkeep escorting and other service-related tasks
- Installing and maintaining site signage as required
- Assisting in resolving customer issues and ensuring outstanding service delivery
Essential experience of the Property Service Operative:
- Experience in cleaning maintenance or a similar operational role
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including
- Computer literate and confident using basic systems or digital tools
- Awareness of manual handling and health and safety practices
Essential qualifications for the Property Service Operative:
- Full valid UK driving licence as travel to support at our other sites is required.
- Ability to safely deploy equipment and follow site processes
- Relevant experience or training in a cleaning or facilities environment

This role is full-time based at our Haslar site. Working hours are 6:00am 2:30pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00am 2:00pm on Fridays.
