Job Summary

National Sales Manager for a Plastic Manufacturing company is responsible for creating and executing national sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Key duties include setting sales targets managing and coaching a national sales team analyzing market trends identifying new business opportunities managing key client relationships and ensuring consistent sales performance across all regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies set sales targets and create plans to achieve them.
  • Lead coach and manage a national sales team including regional managers to meet and exceed business goals.
  • Monitor market trends competitor activities and consumer demand to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients distributors and partners.
  • Track sales performance set key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to executive management.
  • Work with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with new product launches and promotional activities.

Qualification:

  • 12 years of sales experience with a significant portion in a senior leadership role and proven experience in the plastics industry / FMCG Retail / Manufacturing
  • A Bachelors degree is often required with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • Leadership - Demonstrated ability to build motivate and develop a sales team.
