About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality patient-centered care in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate is confident in managing acute and complex medical cases thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through collaboration and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including medical histories physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Order interpret and follow up on diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and coordinate patient care.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality coordinated care.
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions treatment options and preventive health strategies.
Leadership & Professional Practice
- Mentor and support junior clinical staff and medical students when applicable.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in the hospitals electronic medical record system.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical regulatory and hospital standards.
Continuous Learning
- Stay up to date with current research medical techniques and best practices in acute care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctorate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care Specialty) or Physician Assistant program.

Current unrestricted Oklahoma APRN or PA license.
- National certification from an accredited board (ANCC AANP or NCCPA).
- Preferred: 2 to 3 years of clinical experience in acute care or hospital medicine.

Proficiency in EMR systems and hospital-based care documentation.

Strong clinical judgment communication and teamwork skills.
