About the Company
Were seeking a General Superintendent with extensive experience managing the ground-up construction of recreation centers and conditioned-space facilities. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in the field can coordinate multiple trades and ensures projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Youll oversee field operations for projects ranging from neighborhood amenity buildings to large-scale community recreation centers managing crews subcontractors and site logistics. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys seeing projects rise from the ground up and takes pride in building spaces that serve communities for generations.
What Youll Do
- Oversee all field operations for recreation centers amenity buildings and other conditioned-space structures.
- Supervise and coordinate in-house crews and subcontractors to ensure safe high-quality and efficient execution of all phases of construction.
- Manage site logistics scheduling sequencing and daily operations.
- Review architectural structural MEP and civil plans to ensure compliance with specifications and design intent.
- Collaborate closely with project managers architects and engineers to maintain schedule resolve field challenges and drive successful outcomes.
- Lead on-site progress meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders.
- Monitor quality control and safety conducting inspections and enforcing OSHA standards.
- Oversee installation of structural components framing concrete utilities and finish work.
- Visit multiple sites daily as needed to track progress and maintain consistency across projects.
- Represent the company professionally with clients architects and municipal officials.
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience including 3 years in a superintendent or general superintendent role.
- Proven track record managing ground-up construction of conditioned structures (recreation centers community buildings or similar facilities).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural civil and MEP drawings.
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
- Familiarity with construction management platforms (Procore Bluebeam or equivalent).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
