Job Summary

Maintenance Technician - P/T

We have an immediate need for 2 part-time Maintenance Technicians to join our team at Clifton Fine Hospital. We are a Rural Emergency Hospital located in the Adirondack Mountains that provides critical care to our community. The hours for this position will be 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm with rotating weekend coverage and on-call coverage. Pay range is $18.00 to $23.00 based on experience.

Maintenance Technical Duties

Completes maintenance work orders as assigned

Performs necessary maintenance relating to both the exterior and interiors of all buildings

Maintains inventory of equipment tools supplies and work materials

Maintains a working knowledge of all utility sources and supply lines

General maintenance experience includes painting drywall plumbing electrical mowing plowing etc.

Performs all phases of snow removal from all needed areas and maintains all appropriate equipment

Paints cleans completes maintenance items and all other items required for the completion of the unit under renovation

Cleans all common areas and is responsible for trash removal if EVS needs covering.

Planning Oversight Communication

Assesses and prioritizes all work to be performed
Completes daily work schedules for routine maintenance duties
Notifies Maintenance Supervisor and Safety Supervisor of all problems and potential issues of concern
Ensures quality of work duties performed
Handles emergencies that may arise and communicates all details of the incident to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Special projects and other responsibilities may be determined

Interpersonal Safety Responsibilities

Will be available for on-call as necessary
Maintains a professional and courteous manner with all residents vendors contractors and fellow employees
Actively participates and follows the safety and health programs
