Job Summary

GLO Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving / Parts Clerk to join a fast-paced fabrication shop in Plaquemine LA. The rate of pay is $25/hr depending on experience and work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 am 4:30 pm.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with inventory management shipping logistics and parts coordination along with strong computer and forklift operation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders
Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies
Prepare outgoing shipments pack items securely and generate shipping labels
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts
Operate forklifts and other equipment safely
Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill orders efficiently
Order and supply tools and parts for shop personnel
Assist with training new hires
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to operate a Forklift
Experience with Microsoft Office
Must have effective computer operating skills
Ability to accurately use QuickBooks
Inventory and Shipping and Receiving experience is a plus but not required
The ability to work in a fast-paced Industrial Environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Maintains a clean safe and orderly work area.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Operating forklifts and other equipment
