Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager for Labor and Delivery to lead our dedicated maternity care team in Florence this leadership role you will oversee the daily operations of the L&D unit ensuring exceptional patient care staff development and compliance with hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mentor and support the Labor and Delivery nursing team.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to L&D policies and procedures.
- Oversee coordination between Labor & Delivery OR and other hospital departments.
- Monitor staff performance training and professional development.
- Collaborate with physicians midwives and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Current certifications: NRP ACLS BLS and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.
- Proven leadership or management experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of OR processes and Labor & Delivery protocols.
- Active nursing license in good standing (no disciplinary actions).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in other nursing areas such as the ICU.
- 10 years of professional nursing experience.
