Job Summary

Job Title: Travel RN Stepdown Float Pool
Location: Cleveland OH
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Unit: Stepdown/Progressive Care Float Pool
Shift:

Day Shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Night Shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
(Shifts may rotate to meet operational needs)
Holidays: Must be available to work every other holiday
Pay Rate: $2716 Weekly (Gross)

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Travel RN to provide nursing care in a Stepdown/Progressive Care Float Pool. The nurse will care for cardiac and progressive care patients support staff across multiple units and ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital standards.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care for Stepdown and Progressive Care patients.
Float between units as assigned supporting varying patient care needs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
Respond to rotating shifts and holiday coverage as scheduled.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Licensure: Permanent Ohio RN License or Compact State License (required).
Experience:
- Minimum 18 months permanent Stepdown/Progressive Care experience prior to travel.
- Minimum 18 months recent Stepdown experience (travel experience accepted).
- PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required.
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
