Job Summary

Position Summary
The Department of Nutrition at the University of North Carolina Greensboro seeks to fill a 9-month tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a preferred expertise in one or more of the following areas: community nutrition nutrition education global nutrition nutrition and chronic disease prevention nutrition policy clinical nutrition and nutritional epidemiology.

Minimum Qualifications
Earned Doctorate in nutrition or closely related field; evidence of the ability or potential to develop an independent externally- funded research program; ability or potential to teach and mentor graduate and undergraduate students effectively; possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability and willingness to collaborate and work with others in a collegial team atmosphere; active memberships in appropriate professional organizations.

Preferred Qualifications
Post-doctoral experience and RD credential preferred.
