Were seeking a skilled and passionate Wastewater Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our wastewater treatment and reuse services. This is a pivotal leadership role that ensures operational excellence environmental compliance and continuous improvement across our wastewater network.
What Youll Do
- Lead the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants and reuse sites
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Manage operational risks and respond to incidents effectively
- Provide site-based leadership to a team of 2-4 staff
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in wastewater operations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including regulators and contractors
- Support strategic projects such as the Bendigo Groundwater interim solution
What Youll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering science or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in wastewater treatment and reuse operations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of asset management and maintenance principles
- Ability to manage risk and make sound decisions under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence and Australian working rights

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 5 $115162 - $131623 superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
