Job Summary
Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a hairdresser on join our team!
This position is available for temporary full-time hours to help with our Holiday Schedule (8-12 weeks)
Hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4:30PM
- Performs beautician duties including but not limited to shampoos cut color perms etc.
- Maintains proper inventory of supplies and communicates need for additional purchases to Beauty Shop Coordinator.
- Performs general cleaning and maintains safe and sanitary environment.
- Assists with receptionist duties as needed including but not limited to answering incoming calls taking messages scheduling appointments and maintaining charge records.
- Attends meetings and in-service programs as assigned by Beauty Shop Coordinator.
- High school diploma required
- Cosmetologist License required
- Experience working with the elderly preferred
