Operating from a highly efficient facility just 300m from the port the company handles over 110000 TEU annually and runs a fleet of 140 prime movers including Super B-Doubles B-Doubles Sideloaders and retractable skels.

About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Equipment and Maintenance Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and mentoring a small team of 3 workshop staff
- Performing diagnostics repairs and preventative maintenance on trailers
- Managing the service schedule and responding to breakdowns
- Maintaining compliance with NHVAS NHVR and safety standards
- Ensuring workshop resources supplies and records are effectively managed
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A recognised trade qualification as a heavy diesel mechanic or trailer technician
- 5 years of trade experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Skills in welding diagnostics and servicing trailer combinations
- Knowledge of heavy vehicle compliance requirements and NHVAS
- A strong proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
