A friendly Good primary in Watford is seeking a dependable and inspirational Year 2 Teacher to join KS1 on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 2 Teacher will be part of planning ahead of January 2026 will attend induction in January 2026 and will be teaching from January 2026 as the Year 2 Teacher. What the Year 2 Teacher will do day-to-day
The Year 2 Teacher will deliver structured phonics guided reading and sequenced writing units as the Year 2 Teacher; will plan practical maths with a focus on number sense as the Year 2 Teacher; and will run timely interventions to close gaps as the Year 2 Teacher. The Year 2 Teacher will prepare resources in the weeks before January 2026 attend induction during January 2026 and teach from January 2026 with clear expectations for progress and wellbeing.

Person specification Year 2 Teacher
