About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to lead our referrals and partnerships strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our childrens residential and educational services.
Location: Willenhall (with travel across the East Midlands West Midlands & North West Hybrid working)
Salary: Up to 50000 DOE
Contract: Full-time Permanent
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive business development and referrals strategy
- Build strengthen and manage relationships with local authorities commissioners and external partners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the region
- Analyse market trends and referral data to inform strategic planning
- Represent the organisation at meetings networking events and sector forums
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure effective placement processes and service delivery
Requirements
Proven experience in business development referrals or placements within childrens social care or education
Strong stakeholder relationship management and communication skills
Solid understanding of local authority commissioning processes
Proactive professional and passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people
Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive values-driven team
