Shift: Eve 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a PRN (as needed) basis. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols and care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs progress and responses to treatment.
- Assist physicians and RNs in clinical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and reports.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies procedures and state/federal regulations.
- Promote a safe clean and supportive environment for patients.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Connecticut.
- CPR/BLS certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
