Theyre looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead high-impact design and analysis work on next-generation reactors and power components.

Youll play a direct part in advancing a zero-emission energy technology designed to make clean reliable power accessible across industries. Its a rare opportunity to combine deep technical work with global impact.

About The Role:

Perform detailed mechanical and thermal stress analysis on complex high-temperature components such as pressure vessels and reactor structures.

Use advanced FEA tools (ANSYS Mechanical or equivalent) to evaluate fatigue creep dynamic and nonlinear performance.

Translate analysis findings into practical design improvements for performance safety and reliability.

Collaborate across mechanical materials and systems teams to define loads interfaces and mechanical requirements.

Present results to internal teams and external stakeholders contributing to design reviews and technical documentation.

Mentor and support junior engineers on analysis methods simulation workflows and design best practices.

Experience below:

bachelors degree in mechanical Materials or Nuclear Engineering (Masters or PhD a plus).

Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

5 years of experience performing mechanical and thermal FEA in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.

Hands-on expertise with ANSYS Mechanical or comparable analysis software.

Solid understanding of solid mechanics fatigue and material behavior at high temperatures.

Programming or scripting experience (Python MATLAB etc.) for simulation automation or data handling.

Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Experience with ASME or CSA pressure vessel and piping codes.

Background in non-metallic materials (graphite ceramics) or radiation-affected materials.

Exposure to large-scale FEA HPC environments or custom material modeling.
