Job Summary

Job Title Mechanical Assembler
Duration - 6 months
Shift 5:30 AM 2:00 PM
Location Spring Valley CA 91978

Responsibilities

Read prints and drawings and other written instructions or procedures to assemble equipment and products
Utilize hand tools such as wrenches grinder cordless drill and impact drill
Layout fit up pipe build pipe supports work with uni-strut
Operate forklift gantry crane bandsaw chop saw
Work with PVC HDPE stainless steel piping
Troubleshoot rework and/or repair assembled equipment according to engineering specification changes
Shipping & receiving
Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualification

High School Diploma or GED
1-2 years pipe fitting experience required
Ability to do layout and take off
Mechanically inclined
Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
Basic computer skills
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
Ability to work as part of a team
High attention to detail and self-motivated
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Welding and rigging experience is a plus

Physical Demands

Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
Regularly perform repetitive tasks
Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
Specific vision abilities required include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
