Job Summary

The Data Logger Assembler is responsible for building and assembling data logging devices by working with PCBA components mechanical tools and standardized work instructions. This role supports product testing on the production line ensures quality and safety standards are met and contributes to maintaining a strong 5S workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble data logger units using PCBA components wiring enclosures and various mechanical tools.
  • Use wrenches screwdrivers and other hand tools to perform accurate mechanical assembly.
  • Follow detailed Work Instructions (WI) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly drawings to ensure consistent and high-quality builds.
  • Support product testing on the production line including functional tests basic troubleshooting and documentation of test results.
  • Report defects or assembly issues to supervisors technicians or engineering teams.
  • Maintain a clean well-organized workstation and actively participate in a strong 5S program.
  • Adhere to all safety rules guidelines and best practices to promote a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and support daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in assembly or electronics manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions diagrams and SOPs.
  • Basic understanding of hand tools and mechanical assembly practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Willingness to learn support team activities and uphold 5S and safety standards.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced production and assembly environment.
  • Requires use of hand tools and handling of small components.
  • May require standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $18.00 - $22.00 USD per hour.
