Our client is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on React for front-end development and Java for back-end services to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg North.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Foster a high-performance collaborative environment working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Design and develop user-friendly responsive applications using ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Partner with product managers designers and developers to ensure smooth integration and optimal performance of front-end applications.
Oversee the full development lifecycle including requirement analysis design coding testing and deployment.
Ensure high-quality code by adhering to best practices coding standards and using appropriate tools and frameworks.
Lead the adoption of new technologies and frameworks to improve team productivity and code quality.
Conduct code reviews provide constructive feedback and support the professional development of junior team members.
Identify and resolve complex technical issues to ensure optimal application performance scalability and responsiveness.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in front-end development sharing new knowledge and best practices with the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React Angular ).
Proven experience in a leadership or senior role with the ability to mentor and guide other developers.
Strong proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and related front-end technologies.
Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and Agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Vuex.
Knowledge of back-end technologies and API development.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Jest Cypress).
Experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as Tailwind CSS or Material UI (MUI).
