Principal Accountabilities

  • Work with operations group on production schedules
  • Daily tooling setup for production needs
  • Inspection of Grinder pins bushing and plates replace as needed
  • Operate 80 ton hydraulic press
  • Stone Mold plates and Breather plates daily
  • Straighten Mold plates on a hydraulic press
  • Bow breather plates on a hydraulic press
  • Operate plate grinder to sharpen grind plate
  • Assess condition of tooling for wear and damage
  • Order tooling or send out for repairs as needed
  • Maintain tooling inventory levels
  • Utilize MRO system
  • Cleanliness and housekeeping
  • Ensuring food safety and quality
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Work Overtime as needed
  • Documenting daily work assigned on paper and in maintenance management system
  • Utilize parts in inventory to repair equipment and follow procedures for documenting usage
  • Identify problems and make suggestions to improve operational processes
  • Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Truck)

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to read write and speak English
  • Must have knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Have state issued operator drivers license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous industrial maintenance experience
  • Two year degree that relates to the maintenance field
  • Experience using a powered industrial truck (PIT)
  • Previous Cargill experience
  • Work history in the last 12 months
