Position SummaryThe Vice President of Automation Engineering Fulfillment Operations will lead Walmarts transformation toward a fully automated intelligent fulfillment network. This role drives the design deployment and optimization of advanced automation solutions across Fulfillment Centers enabling faster smarter and more cost-efficient customer delivery. Its a unique opportunity to shape the future of fulfillment and redefine how products move from suppliers to customers at scale.
About Fulfillment Automation & Engineering
The Fulfillment Automation & Engineering team leads the modernization of Walmarts Fulfillment Center network by developing and integrating next-generation automation technologies. With Next Gen fulfillment centers - the team is combining Robotics machine learning and automated storage and retrieval systems to ensures Walmart can flexibly and efficiently move products from suppliers/sellers to customers- supporting the companys mission to save customers time and money.
What youll do...
What youll do- Lead the strategy design and deployment of automation solutions across the Fulfillment Center network using advanced robotics and intelligent systems.
- Deliver Next Gen Fulfillment Centers powered by dense automated each storage and retrieval system.
- Build an integrated fulfillment automation platform that optimizes the end-to-end flow of products from suppliers to stores and homes.
- Partner cross-functionally across supply chain product tech and finance to ensure alignment on automation investments and execution.
- Advance autonomous yard and vehicle electrification initiatives to expand fulfillment capacity and sustainability.

The annual salary range for this position is $300000.00 - $525000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
