Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Oncology
Location: Cumming GA
Duration: 12 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 8x5 Days
Pay Rate: $2310 Weekly Gross
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in an oncology unit. The nurse will manage chemotherapy administration monitor patient conditions and ensure high-quality safe care for oncology patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care to oncology patients including assessment treatment and monitoring.
Administer chemotherapy and other oncology medications following established protocols.
Monitor patient responses manage side effects and provide education on treatment plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
Document all patient care treatment and interventions accurately in the medical record.
Maintain a safe and compliant clinical environment adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Participate in mandatory holiday coverage as required by the schedule.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in oncology nursing.
Must be willing to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day or New Years Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve or New Years Eve).
Candidates must be located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
Certifications:
AHA BLS
Chemotherapy Certification
