We are seeking passionate and dedicated ESL Teachers to join a national Workforce Development and Adult Learning Program for the upcoming JanuaryMay 2026 this role instructors will provide English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction to adult learners working in a manufacturing environment.
The goal of this program is to help team members strengthen their communication literacy and professional skills to succeed both in the workplace and in everyday life. Classes will be conducted onsite at production facilities in classrooms provided by the employer.
Deliver engaging student-centered ESL instruction to adult learners (approximately 1015 students per class).
Teach English language fundamentals workplace communication financial literacy digital literacy and job-specific skills using the provided curriculum.
Conduct approximately 9 hours of classroom instruction per week with additional time for preparation meetings and administrative work (total not exceeding 20 hours weekly).
Foster a supportive inclusive and culturally respectful learning environment.
Adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse proficiency levels and learning styles of adult students.
Monitor attendance and assess learner progress; provide feedback and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with the Workforce Education team and program coordinators to align lessons with educational objectives.
Utilize technology tools such as Microsoft Teams PowerPoint and Excel for teaching tracking and communication.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Education TESOL English Linguistics or a related field (Masters preferred).
Certification:
ESL/TESOL/TEFL certification required or currently in progress.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching adult learners preferably in workplace or community education programs.
Skills:
Strong command of English grammar and ability to teach language structure effectively.
Excellent classroom management communication and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams PowerPoint Excel).
Ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds and educational experiences.
Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
