Job Summary

Job Summary:

This post holder consists of the personnel working in the position of Agent Cargo operations

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for efficient handling of cargo operations at respective Airport
Conduct cargo operations in accordance with applicable regulations and standards as laid down in Cargo Operations Manual
Ensure that all safety / security and SOPs about cargo operations are taken care
Ensure cargo acceptance is done as per the laid down procedure
Ensure cargo is properly manifested as per sales planning
Ensure cargo is dispatched from warehouse properly with all relevant documents
Ensure proper documentation and reports are generated
Ensure proper segregation of cargo shipment/ trolley make up are done for flights
Ensure cargo is properly loaded/un-loaded from aircrafts
Ensure proper messages are forwarded to various destinations for location of cargo and documents etc loaded inside the cargo compartment

Required Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of computer able to generate various reports in Excel
Close working contacts with cargo terminal operators

Good to have:

Minimum 1 year of experience in air cargo operations in any domestic airline or Cargo Logistic company
Confident person having excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Drive for results and initiative is a must. Computer proficiency

Educational Qualification:

Graduate / 12th pass in any discipline.
Knowledge of Basic Cargo and DGR certification
