What youll do...
Own core capabilities in our sourcing optimization and costing suite that help procurement teams compare complex bids model total landed cost and make faster higherconfidence award decisionsdirectly inside our enterprise sourcing platform.Our team gathers information about customer needs and applies our technological expertise and strategic thinking to create a product roadmap. The product journey is designed to leverage technological excellence to drive customer satisfaction. Walmarts philosophy of Everyday Low Prices is not an easy one to achieve. What youll do:
- Lead endtoend delivery of features like currentstate analysis cost breakdowns scenario modeling and optimizationcompressing multiweek analysis into nearrealtime recommendations.
- Make decisions explainablepartner with data science and engineering to expose assumptions inputs and tradeoffs in a way stakeholders can trust.
- Prove outcomesdefine and track KPIs (analysis cycle time adoption savings realized) run experiments and iterate quickly.
- Drive integrations and changemanagementland capabilities within procurement workflows and supplier interactions with minimal disruption.
- Write to decideconcise PRDs decision memos and release notes that keep diverse stakeholders aligned.
What youll bring:
- Curiosity analytical depthstrong problem framing; comfortable working with optimization/analytics experiments and telemetry.
- Procurement/RFx domain familiarityexperience with sourcing events total cost modeling or pricing/optimization tools is a plus.
- Structured communicationturns complex math and tradeoffs into clear humanreadable choices.
- Ownership mindsetsets ambitious goals manages risk and adjusts quickly to hit the mark.
- Bias for actionmoves ideas from concept to shipped value in tight loops.

The annual salary range for this position is $117000.00 - $234000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
