Location: Rochester NY 14621
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shifts:

Night: 312-Hour (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Day: 312-Hour (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)

Pay: $1821 Weekly Gross

Position Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a busy Medical-Surgical unit. The LVN/LPN will work under the supervision of an RN while independently managing patient assignments within their scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of assigned patients providing safe high-quality care under RN supervision.
Administer medications monitor patient conditions and perform routine clinical assessments.
Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide supportive care as needed.
Document nursing care and patient observations accurately in the facilitys EMR system.
Collaborate with RNs physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies infection control and safety standards.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience within the last 2 years.
Able to manage a patient assignment independently within the LVN/LPN scope of practice.
Strong communication critical thinking and teamwork skills.

Certifications & Licensure

Active LVN/LPN license New York State (unrestricted)
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
