Job Summary
Reporting to the Director Human Resources responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement health and safety programs.
- Prioritizes health problems and intervenes appropriately to assist the patient in complex urgent or emergency situations including initiation of effective emergency care and provide emergency treatment in the workplace.
- Perform patients routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse blood pressure and temperature provide drugs and injections etc)
- Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
- Create a clean and comfortable sickbay area.
- Document all employee injury and illness and keep this information confidential.
- Improve the health of employees through on-going programs and health checks.
- Develop strategies to ensure maximum employee work input.
- Communicate with management on a regular basis.
- Ensures excellent service and standards at all times as well as behaving in a professional manner when on and off duty
- Maintains complete knowledge and complies with all hotel and departmental policies and procedures
- Carries out other duties as required by management from time to time such as but not limited to lateral service in other parts of the Human Resources or Hotel.
- Sets up workstation(s) with necessary supplies along with maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Administer workloads
- Follow care regulations and standards
- Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Registered Nursing Degree.
- 1-2 years related experience the hospitality sector.
- Display of comprehensive computer skills.
- Well trained and skilled on the usage of medical equipment.
- Must be well acquainted with the emergency medical procedures.
- Knowledge of hygiene sanitation Health & Safety aspects.
- High levels of organizational skills and efficiency.
