Job Description:
In order to support Manufacturing Engineering department Airbus Commercial is looking for a
You will be dedicated to surface protection processes (linked with all materials metal & composite) for both serial and future needs. The team is responsible for projects to reduce product and process costs ensure ramp-ups reduce non-quality costs and ensure and anticipate regulation changes across all Airbus Commercial plants.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.
Bremen is a charming city full of history in the northwest of addition to being one of the countrys greenest cities it offers wonderful sights a rich culture urban flair and culinary delights. Its also a great place for seaside lovers being located just an hours drive from the North Sea coast.
Hamburg Broughton Toulouse & Illescas are also possible locations.

Act as the Manufacturing Engineering technical focal point and project manager for surface protection activities.
Capture and evaluate industrial needs with regards to surface protection especially for the ramp-up.
Perform and/or supervise the industrial tests to qualify new products.
Contribute to Multi-Functional Teams (MFTs) acting as the voice of Airbus plants.
Ensure activities are done in Time / Cost / Quality / Performance for R&T and serial projects.
Propose solutions to ensure key programme targets and lead risks & opportunities management.
Support technically local Manufacturing Engineering teams through problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Masters Degree in Engineering (metal/composite material chemical engineering/corrosion or process engineering/chemistry).
Technical knowledge on Materials & Processes and manufacturing procedures.
Experience in Manufacturing Engineering and/or Project Management (local and transnational).
Strong ability to work in Multi-Functional Teams (MFTs).
Able to define Design for Manufacture requirements and challenge State of the Art designs.
Good stakeholder management and ability to convince people.
Experience in another industry or supplier would be a plus.
Negotiation level in English and willingness to undertake business travel.
