Come Work with Compass ELC: the role:
At Compass ELC you will work as a Program Cleaner alongside our Victoria Graduate and St. Dominics programs located in Lindsay Ontario. You will spend your time cleaning and maintaining the environment spaces and materials within our program. You will model and grow a perspective of equity and strive for a deeper understanding of cultural awareness. Hours will be based on the programs needs and funding. You will work 35 to 40 hours per week Monday to Friday evenings and weekends as needed. Hours will be split between the 2 programs and are subject to change based on programs needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team with Coworkers.
- Demonstrating respect for spaces by ensuring the safety and cleanliness of all equipment furniture and materials.
- Daily cleaning of the spaces that are being used during the day; including mopping dusting sanitizing disinfecting and steam cleaning.
- You have a clear knowledge of the cleaners disinfectants and sanitizers being used.
- Strong communication skills with program leads to ensure that all health and safety standards are met.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Standard First Aid/CPR Level C (Required)
- Updated Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months (Required)
- Updated Immunizations/ Refusal of Affidavit (Required)
- Understanding of WHMIS and Safe Cleaning Procedures
