- Role summary
The Senior Program Manager serves a pivotal role within Goldfin. They interface and develop longstanding relationships with our largest clients while also being the connector within Goldfin that brings all the pieces together to achieve our delivery objectives. To succeed the Senior Program Manager must exhibit an analytical mindset strong written and verbal communication skills as well as comprehension of the contracts and rules that govern our work and the broader demand-side management (DSM) industry within which we operate.
- Responsibilities
- Play a leading role in the delivery of Goldfins largest contracts acting as the primary point-of-contact for our clients and coordinating internal teams to successfully deliver our scope of work as well as meeting Goldfins exceptional quality and service standards.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators and targets to track program success manage budgets and optimize cost effectiveness.
- Lead specific program management initiatives such as start-up efforts for new contracts or scope expansions by developing implementation plans establishing standards and processes identifying roles providing training and managing the execution.
- Leverage and enhance Goldfins existing project and budget management tools workflow systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while establishing new processes to elevate project and program management practices ensuring on-time and on-budget completion of deliverables.
- Develop and implement project quality assurance and control processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards contractual obligations and client expectations.
- Define tasks and timelines assign and monitor resources to ensure optimal work allocation and delivery efficiency.
- Monitor and communicate project status and risks to the appropriate work channels escalating issues when needed.
- Deliver reports to clients on project progress highlighting challenges and proposed solutions.
- Analyze project status and when necessary propose and implement changes to the scope schedule or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Conduct post-project analyses to capture learnings for the continuous improvement of future work delivery.
- What you bring to the table
- You have 5 to 10 years of directly relevant experience in DSM program management or other energy and resource management program roles and more than 10 years in total experience.
- You have experience in a key account management or other critical client interfacing roles.
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- You have experience starting up new projects developing execution plans and processes as well as defining roles and responsibilities and training people to succeed in these roles.
- You are experienced in project management (planning monitoring and reporting on performance) and working in project management tools (e.g. Asana or similar platforms).
- You have successfully managed large and complex program budgets with a strong understanding of controls and an ability to develop accurate forecasts and optimize resource allocations.
- Your leadership and collaboration skills make you a natural at bringing cross-functional teams together.
- You pay close attention to detail meeting deadlines and adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- You approach challenges with an analytical and systems-focused mindset identifying solutions and driving strategies to achieve project goals while considering impacts and continuous improvement.
- You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Nice to have:You hold a relevant professional certification such as PgMP or PMP.

- Close to downtown Toronto - 259 Danforth Ave Toronto ON M4K 1N2. A 4-minute walk from Broadview subway station.
- We follow a hybrid work model with in-office expectations of at least once a week currently on Mondays.
