Your Role: Simulator Technician & Trainer
Be the driving force behind M1A2 Immersive Tactical Trainer (ITT)! As a Simulator Technician youll ensure flawless administrative maintenance and training support for ITTs following contract specifications. This is a permanent full-time role located in Townsville North Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the ITT is prepared for training daily during normal training Tempo
Provide on-site after-hours support for M1A2 gunnery training upon approval.
Offer off-site on-call assistance during non-operational hours.
Support ITT when deployed Off-Site.
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance for ITTs.
Deliver comprehensive training courses for operators instructors as required
Customize training scenarios as requested.
Liaise with customers for upgrades and improvements.
Skills Qualifications & Experience:
Must hold current and active NV1 Defence Clearance
Proficiency in computer maintenance and networking with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Skilled in technical writing and publications management.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience in training development and delivery.
Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.
Understanding of configuration management processes.
