Our Global Data Analytics (GDA) team is the trusted analytics partner for Finance Operations providing data-driven solutions across global service centers and functions. We are custodians of data and metrics definitions applying scientific methods to large-scale transactional processes.
Were seeking an exceptional Business Intelligence Engineering Leader to manage and develop our FinOps Healthcare Data and Analytics team. Youll drive engineering excellence in data visualization pipeline development and analytics solutions. Youll identify design and build automation solutions using Artificial Intelligence (inter alia). In leading an global team of analytics professionals youll be a major contributor to business and process outcomes in the area of Healthcare Finance Operations.
Key job responsibilities
-Support the organizations strategic business objectives process outcomes and decisions by analytical insights
-Collaborate with business leaders and users to understand requirements and optimize data-driven decision-making processes
-Provide reliable accurate timely reporting for operations activities and leadership decision making
-Lead a small international team of analytics professionals
-Drive the design and implementation of complex scalable and high-performance data pipelines and models
-Collaborate cross-functionally with technology teams such as data engineers and data scientists to define and deliver BI solutions
-Build reports and dashboards using Amazon QuickSight
-Use advanced analytics techniques such as statistical analysis and predictive modeling to uncover hidden patterns trends and opportunities
-Implement AI-powered self-service analytics tools
-Identify evaluate and implement automation opportunities incl. AI technology; continuously enhance analytics while reducing manual effort
-Represent the BI function in strategic business discussions and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
About the team
Global Accounts Payable and Global Accounts Receivable are in charge of all AP and AR processes across Amazons businesses and geographies. Global Data Analytics (GDA) provide data analytics and insights to AR and AP. Our mission: As trusted and business-focused analytics partners we provide timely data analytics and insights across Service Centers (SCs) and global functions. We are custodians of data and metrics definitions. We apply science methods to large-scale transactional processes.
- 5 years of professional or military experience
- Experience programming to extract transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval data science machine learning and data mining
- Experience building measures and metrics and developing reporting solutions
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Masters degree in statistics data science or an equivalent quantitative field
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling
- Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
