Early Career IT Summer Internship Program

Joining the Early Career - IT Summer Internship Program at Corebridge Financial is a great way to enhance your technical skills and gain insight into our industry. Summer interns are placed into meaningful and interesting roles that are valued by IT and the business. The Summer Internship Program lasts approximately 10 weeks and is targeted to students entering the final year or junior year of their undergraduate education. After initial orientation summer interns will join one of the IT teams such as:

• Engineering: Be part of a software or systems engineering team. Build code and automate applications through a collaborative and agile environment or design and implement a variety of systems in network storage public and private cloud to provide seamless scalable infrastructure for our applications.
• Cybersecurity: Deliver systems and application solutions that strengthen and safeguard the firms assets and stakeholders from cybersecurity threats.
• Architecture: Architect requirements for our cloud data digital security and domain platforms in alignment with the broader technology strategy and standards
• Business and Project Management: Drive project and program execution support the strategic operations of the Program Management Office and Business Management Office.
• Business Analysis: Enable business needs through requirements gathering analysis and validation to design and implement business processes and solutions.
• Data: Empower business partners to turn information into action by gathering analyzing and modeling data enabling smarter decision making.

As part of the IT team at Corebridge Financial you will have a unique opportunity to build core technical knowledge and professional addition to gaining on-the-job experience summer interns have the opportunity to learn directly from senior management and participate in webinars discussion forums and networking receptions.

Summer interns establish goals with their managers during the first week and the goals are measured at the mid- and end- points of the summer. Successful summer interns may be considered for full-time early career positions that become available in 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or candidate for Bachelors degree to be received no later than June 2028 in Computer Science Computer Engineering Data Science Software Engineering Information Science Cybersecurity or majors related to these areas.

What we are looking for

• Grade point average of 3.4 or greater is desirable
• Experience with a programming language such as Java C C# Python
• Driven individuals who demonstrate strong academic and extracurricular achievement
• Bold thinkers that possess solid analytical and quantitative skills
• Enthusiastic about learning about the finance and insurance industry
• Excellent organizational skills ability to multitask and prioritize
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Corebridge intern positions are available in Houston TX & Jersey City NJ.

For applicants in Jersey City NJ the hourly pay range is $30.00 - $38.00.
