Job Summary
- Wash and sanitize:Clean all dishes kitchen utensils pots and pans using a dishwashing machine or by hand.
- Operate machinery:Scrape rinse and load dishes into the dishwasher ensuring proper wash and rinse temperatures and adding soap and rinse agents as needed.
- Sort and store:Properly dry and put away clean dishes utensils and cookware in their designated locations.
- Maintain cleanliness:Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized sweep or scrub floors and regularly empty trash containers.
Other responsibilities:
- Kitchen support:Assist with other cleaning duties such as wiping down counters cleaning small appliances and sanitizing prep stations.
- Food prep:Help with basic food preparation tasks as requested by kitchen manager.
- Health and safety:Follow all health and safety guidelines report any sanitation or mechanical issues and maintain a high degree of hygiene.
