Job Title: Travel RN ICU Step-Down (Auto Offer)

Location: Hackensack NJ 07601

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM 3x12-Hour Shifts Every Other Weekend & Holidays Required No On-Call

Pay Rate: $2486 Weekly Gross

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in ICU and Step-Down units for a 13-week assignment in a leading acute care facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in critical and intermediate care strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct high-quality patient care in ICU and Step-Down settings.
Monitor assess and manage patients requiring ventilator support tracheostomy care drips and intubations.
Deliver specialized care for pulmonary and cardiac patients including post-surgical and post-cardiac cases.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate detailed records of patient conditions medications and progress.
Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to hospital policies and nursing best practices.
Participate in shift handoffs care planning and emergency response procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU and Step-Down RN experience in a major acute care hospital.
Med Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required.
Recent bedside ICU/Step-Down experience within the past 6 months (required).
35 years of overall ICU/Step-Down experience preferred.
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS AHA)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- CEU Stroke Contact (4 Hours)
- Telemetry Certification
Licensure: Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State License (required).
